Valve Cover Gaskets

When you remove the gasket to replace it with the new one, there might be residue of the old gasket fallen in there and you have to remove it as well. Use oil to soak up the insides of the cover and leave it there for about 15 minutes. This will ensure that oil has collected all the residue that can be later soaked with the help of paper towel or shop rags.
